Cleaner, More Comfortable Air with Destratification Fans for Clinics & Urgent Care

Clinics and urgent care facilities experience constantly changing occupancy throughout the day, with patients, visitors, and staff moving between waiting rooms, exam areas, corridors, and administrative spaces.

Maintaining comfortable temperatures and good indoor air quality across these environments can be challenging. Airius PureAir systems can provide supplemental air circulation and air treatment while working alongside the facility’s existing HVAC and filtration systems.

Challenge

The Challenge

Waiting rooms and other shared clinical spaces can experience high occupancy, stagnant air, odors, airborne particles, and uneven temperatures. Different room sizes, equipment loads, exterior exposure, and changing occupancy can also create hot and cold spots throughout the facility. Existing HVAC systems may provide adequate heating and cooling capacity while still struggling to distribute conditioned air evenly.

Healthcare environments also require careful airflow management, particularly around treatment rooms, isolation areas, and other spaces with specific ventilation or pressure requirements.

Solution

The Airius Solution

Airius PureAir systems combine continuous air circulation with NPBI™ Needlepoint Bipolar Ionization technology to help improve indoor air quality in appropriate areas of clinics and urgent care facilities.

For these facilities, two Airius systems are particularly well suited.

PureAir Suspended Series

The PureAir Suspended Series is designed for drop-ceiling environments commonly found throughout clinics and medical offices. The ceiling-mounted system combines air circulation with NPBI™ technology to help mitigate odors, allergens, bacteria, and airborne particles while also reducing hot and cold spots. Its integrated installation can make it particularly useful in waiting rooms, reception areas, corridors, staff areas, and other shared spaces.

Air Pear Series

PureAir Standard Series

The standard PureAir Series provides greater flexibility for spaces without suspended ceilings. It continuously circulates treated air directly within the occupied space while helping existing filtration systems capture airborne particles and reduce odors. Airius specifically identifies waiting rooms as a recommended application for the PureAir Series. EC models can also integrate with building controls for variable-speed operation.

Results

Potential Results

A properly designed Airius PureAir installation could help improve air circulation, reduce hot and cold spots, mitigate odors, reduce airborne particles, and create more consistent indoor conditions for patients, visitors, and healthcare staff.

By delivering supplemental air treatment directly within occupied areas, PureAir can complement existing HVAC and filtration systems without requiring extensive ductwork modifications.

Why Cleaner Air Should Be An urgent care

Every clinic and urgent care facility has different room configurations, HVAC systems, occupancy patterns, and ventilation requirements. Airius systems can be positioned in appropriate areas to support circulation and indoor air quality while working alongside existing ventilation, filtration, and infection-control strategies.

The objective is not to replace required healthcare ventilation systems. It is to help create a cleaner, more comfortable indoor environment in the spaces where patients and staff spend their time.
