Q series

The Airius Q Series features a patented Multi-Vane Stator and Venturi Nozzle, engineered to deliver superior airflow and destratification performance. The Multi-Vane Stator minimizes rotational airflow, converting it into a laminar column for maximum air throw and circulation efficiency.

Complementing this, the Venturi Nozzle accelerates airflow while enhancing secondary air entrainment, ensuring consistent and balanced temperatures from ceiling to floor. This advanced combination of technologies makes the Q Series ideal for optimizing airflow in sound-sensitive environments, all while maintaining energy efficiency and superior performance.

The Q series fan design suspends the motor at the intake without using a fan grille. By eliminating the grille, we reduce the turbulence induced into the blades to keep the fan quiet. Without a grille, less intake area is blocked which maximizes airflow. Because this fan does not have an intake grille, it should always be installed in a place where occupants can not reach it.

The Airius Q Series fans are designed for quick and efficient installation. Suitable for both new constructions and retrofits, these fans can be securely mounted using the provided hardware. For EC motor models, installation may include additional low-voltage wiring for controls, or a wireless control system can be used to simplify the process further. With its user-friendly setup, the Q Series ensures seamless integration into any space.

Every Q series fan is supplied with a steel safety leash pre-installed. The safety leash acts as an additional restraint in the case of catastrophic failure of the main attachment point. Airius is the only small destratification fan manufacturer with this safety feature.

Our standard AC motors are a great option to keep things simple. Controls for these types of motors are installed in-line with the power circuit feeding the fans. Several control types are available, from simple wall mounted controls to our Smart TRIAC that can adjust speed using: dip switches for fixed speed, 2-20mA current, 0-10VDC, or high and low temperature sensors that adjust fan speed based on the temperature difference. Our premium EC motors, made by ebm-papst®, are a great option for maximum efficiency and controllability. EC fans maintain higher efficiency across the entire speed range when compared to traditional AC motors. EC fans can be controlled through a direct 0-10VDC wired connection, using our Pearlink Wi-Fi based app, using our Delta-T controller, or integrated into an existing automation system over BACnet MS/TP.

Q Series fans are available in three standard colors: Off white (Cool gray 2C), gray (gray 432C) or black. Custom colors will be considered for large bulk purchases. Contact Airius for further details. If you need small quantities of fans with custom colors, look at our Designer Series fans.

Airius fan housings are constructed from durable ABS plastic, offering excellent chemical resistance for use in machine shops, natatoriums, and other harsh or corrosive environments. Improved Chemical Resistance: ABS withstands exposure to oils and some alkalis, making it ideal for commercial and light-industrial settings.
