Product Assembler
The Product Assembler is responsible for assembling mechanical and/or electronic components into finished goods, ensuring that each unit meets our quality and safety standards. This role is hands-on and ideal for someone who enjoys working with tools, solving problems, and being part of a collaborative team.
- Assemble products accurately and efficiently according to work instructions, drawings, photos or schematics.
- Operate basic hand tools, pneumatic tools, potentially soldering irons and occasionally powered equipment.
- Perform visual inspections and functional testing on assembled components to identify defects.
- Maintain proper documentation of production activities, including completion logs and quality reports.
- Work collaboratively with team leads to resolve assembly issues or improve processes.
- Keep workstations clean and organized.
- Assist with packaging and labeling of finished products for shipment when needed.
- Cross-train in other production areas as required to support team flexibility and efficiency.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or assembly role preferred, but not required.
- Ability to read and interpret work orders, diagrams, or instructions in English.
- Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency.
- Able to lift up to 60 lbs and stand for extended periods of time.

While performing the duties of this job, the product assembler frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to fumes, airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, vibration, and high noise levels.

- Frequent standing, walking, sitting, balancing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching.

Sales Engineer
The Territory Sales Engineer for Airius will drive sales by educating specifying engineers, supporting manufacturer reps, and developing direct national accounts. Through these efforts the Sales Engineer will analyze customer needs and drive Airius product specification, quoting and securing orders. An excellent understanding of mechanical systems and building controls is needed for application of various Airius products.
- Generates and executes prospecting sales plans for targeting strategic accounts
- Proposes ideas, and finds new and innovative ways of selling
- Performs routine sales duties with little or no supervision, including planning and executing daily activities i.e. sales calls, lunch & learns, and customer entertainment.
- Logs activities within CRM. Salesforce experience a plus
- Travel to work with specifying engineers, manufacturer reps, end users and contractors to develop positive, productive relationships with them
- Punctual with commitments to customers, phone calls, job problems, and credit issues. Follow up on jobs after quote and obtain appropriate information and close orders.
- Prepares detailed, accurate and timely specifications, recommendations, submittals and quotes.
- Cooperates and communicates effectively with other Airius sales personnel, managers, office staff, and production personnel
- Demonstrates proper and ethical judgment and decision-making skills
- Pursues orders by following projects from the planning stage through completion
- Coordinates submittals, order status, installation assistance, and warranty administration with customers, and other Airius personnel
- Maintain current knowledge of competitive products and system characteristics
- Participate in trade shows and other business-related events
- Accepts new assignments and assumes additional duties, when necessary, even though these efforts may not contribute directly to income; works for the common good
- Education Required: Bachelor’s Degree or MBA in Engineering or other related Science disciplines. Degree in mechanical or electrical engineering preferred
- Experience Required: 3+ years of experience successfully selling and/or applying air distribution products or building controls (consulting engineer or manufacture representative)
- Possess a strong technical aptitude and technical writing skills
- Entrepreneurial drive with clear track record of high achievement
- Ability to be an effective team player that takes initiative and ownership
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization with professionalism
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings and technical submittals including wiring diagrams
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (team leadership, presentation ability, proactive focus)
- Excellent computer, presentation, and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products.
- Willingness to travel Required: 50%
