Medically Correct, the producer behind the Incredibles line of cannabis-infused sweets and chocolates, needed a way to improve temperature consistency and airflow in their 6,300 sq. ft. grow room. Uneven air distribution was creating hot and cold zones, which stressed plants and affected both yield and quality. To achieve optimal growing conditions, the team turned to Airius Air Pear Fans for an energy-efficient destratification solution.
The grow room featured 17-foot ceilings, which caused significant temperature stratification—up to 15–20°F difference from floor to ceiling. This uneven environment made it difficult to maintain stable growing conditions, leading to plant stress and reduced flower development. Maintaining uniform airflow and consistent temperatures was critical to maximizing both plant health and production efficiency.
Medically Correct installed fourteen (14) Airius Model A-45-P4 fans throughout the grow room. The fans were strategically positioned to mix the air evenly from ceiling to floor, ensuring consistent temperatures across the entire space. Their compact design and low energy consumption made them ideal for the controlled environment of a cannabis grow facility.
After installation, temperature differences dropped from 15–20°F to within just 1°F throughout the space. According to head grower Christopher Keller, the fans made a dramatic impact: maintaining even temperatures eliminated plant stress, improved overall health, and led to greater yields and higher-quality crops.
The Airius Air Pear Fan installation at Medically Correct demonstrates how effective destratification can transform indoor growing environments—boosting plant vitality, consistency, and profitability while reducing the strain on HVAC systems.
