Enhancing studio airflow, the Imagineering team at Walt Disney World embarked on a mission to transform their backlot studios into a comfortable, energy-efficient workspace without relying on traditional rooftop HVAC systems. Faced with the challenge of mitigating high humidity levels in Florida’s sweltering climate, and building on their previous success with Airius Air Pear fans in Star Wars and Toy Story attractions, the team turned to innovative solutions. By strategically installing A-100-EC fans with custom ducting and supplementing with A-45 units for targeted air movement, they not only achieved superior air distribution but also created a balanced and pleasant working environment.
